The secret of people-owls is solved
Britain scientists managed to ascertain the certain interrelation between internal clocks of an organism and a concept of a person - owl.
As a result of research scientists have found out, that internal clocks of an organism can have not a 24-hour cycle which coincides with amount of hours in a day, but 27-hour. Hence, the phenomenon of an owl which forces many people to fall asleep late and hardly wake up in the morning has a genetic basis.
In a result, people living on the extended cycle, have longer period of activity that influences their abilities to stay awake and productively work during the night.
The extended cycle is caused by peculiarity of one of genes of an organism which is known as Fbxl3. It is responsible for splitting of some proteins in brain cells.
Also the professor of Edinburgh University Gerald Lincon considers that the human organism along with a diurnal cycle has also an annual cycle which equals to 10 months.
