Smoking marihuana leads to loss of teeth
Experts from stomatologic school Danedin in New Zealand have proved that often smoking marihuana three times increases risk of periodontitis.
In the research participated 900 young people, who were observed from 18 till 32 years. Scientists have also compared reports on drugs consumption by participants in the age of 18, 21, 26 and 32 years.
“Gum illnesses have been found at a quarter of people, who regularly used marihuana from 18 till 32 years - we have been struck with such significant increase in risk”, - declared head of the research Murray Thomson.
Periodontitis is a disease which leads to tooth destruction. 100 % of adult population of the Earth and 80 % of children have these or that signs of the disease, assert experts of the WHA.
It is necessary to note, that earlier American scientists came to a conclusion that CBD in marihuana structure, prevents cancer.
