Birth-pills reduce risk of cancer

Taking oral contraceptive means essentially reduces threat of cancer. Such is the conclusion of one of the largest works, according to The Times, devoted to cancer studies.

As the research has shown, women who have taken birth-pills for 8 years or less, have 12 % less risk to be ill with any form of cancer, including colorectal cancer, rectal cancer, carcinoma of uterine tubes.

What is typical, women who have taken tablets for more than 8 years, on the contrary, are at an increased risk of cancer.

Group of researchers from Aberdeen University has summarize material which has been collected since 1968 in Royal medical college on the basis of the data received from 1400 attending doctors, whose patients have taken contraceptive pills.

The published information proves that contraceptive pills reduce risk of any form of cancer, though the degree of beneficial influence varies from the time for which you have take these tablets.
